For a person who is completely obsessed with learning Japanese, what book or site would you suggest?
Otherwise, maybe a program in western Pennsylvania that teaches it to k-12 students?

Hello,

There are loads of software, program and books.

1. www.byki.com, free software download in Japanese, and help you get a starting point.

2.Pimsleur Recorded Books, very good but expensive , when i was learning Japanese, i borrowed it from the Library. It is good if you just want to learn how to speak japanese.

3.http://www.japanese-online.com/

4.http://www.learn-japanese.net/

5.http://www.freejapaneselessons.com/

6. Teach yourself Japanese, this can be purchased via Amazon

7. If you like Pimsleur's method you could also try Rosetta stone as well
