Using tea powder -
Take 50% water (for 1 cup - half cup water) and keep it to boil. Put enough sugar and see it dissolve while the water boils on low flame. Then add your favourite tea powder (unflavoured are the best), and put in 1 spoon of it for a normal tea (I mean not too strong). See it change the color of the water... reddish, once it's reddish and going deep... pour enough milk (hot preferred). And watch it boil for few minutes - you'll get the nice tea color and a foam forming due to milk.
Use a strainer, and strain the hot tea into a cup.
Sip slowly and enjoy it on a rainy day or early mornings or of course every evening :)

Bring to boil 1 tea bag with half cup of cream and 1/3 cup of water. Try Chia tea. it is lovely. A great alternative to Hot chocolate.

if you re looking for the what is made in most indian homes ...this is how it goes:
for one cup...put jus a lil more than half cup of water to boil
add one teaspoon sugar
add half cup of milk
add the tea powder( 1 tsp)
as soon as the mixture comes to a boil, and it starts rising in the container with mild froth on top...bring it down to simmer..
then after around 2 mins..switch off the stove/gas etc

if yu want to attempt flavoured tea...
while putting the wayer to boil , put an inch of smashed or grated ginger or annapurna leaves or bay leaves or elaichi

I like to use bottled or filtered water...and if it's green tea, don't steep too long or in too hot of a temperature (bitter flavor). Warm up your cup and tea pot if you're using one too.
