I have a Friend Who says he really wants to do it when having a heart to heart when we go out but then changes his mind in the morning it really winds me up! we had a bit of a fling a while back also he knows my husband!!

People always know deep down what the truth of the matter is, what they lack is the courage to say it outright. Getting drunk gives you the opportunity to be less inhibited and can on occasion's, give us this "i could care less" attitude when discussing whats on our minds. It basically gives people an excuse to get out of it. However, personally, i don't think being drunk is a good enough excuse, in the morning your still accountable for the things you've said the night before.

No, they don't, not always, for example, when my b/f and I used to drink, we would say really horrible things to each other, he would accuse me of not paying any rent or bills etc when this is totally untrue, and anyone who doubts that can see my bank statement if you need proof! We used to be really horrible to each other but this is not how we really feel, alcohol can change a person from Dr Jekyll into Mr Hyde, we no longer drink and our relationship has gone from strength to strength. You should not be cheating on your husband, if you are even thinking about doing this then your marriage needs serious help, either get counselling and try to make your marriage work, or leave him and let the poor man find someone who can stay faithful to him.

If you love him then yes because love is the only intoxicant. when your drunk a couple of things can happen. Alcohol can give you courage to do things you can`t do when your sober. Alcohol can make you look like an idiot when you drink too much. Alcohol can tell the truth. So i advice is that get him drunk and let him talk about his feeling about you.

People just say what comes to mind when pissed. I don't think there's any thinking involved. But if he thinks of you alot and gets pissed then you'll probably see that those feelings comes out. And when he sobers up and realises what he is doing, then that is why he does not want to do anything especially if he knows your husband.

Alcohol is really good at destroying any boundaries in love... sometimes for the better or worst.
When your sober the boundaries are too big for some people to climb.

definately.
alcohol removes all inhibitions & allows your inner self to do what it truly wants...
...unfortunately when you sober up all the normal conditioned restraints come back in & things don't seem like such a good idea.

yeah i think people tell the truth when they are drunk as they lose all there inhibitions which would normally stop them saying things that are true

Yes, in most of the cases. Those people who doesn't have self-control technique, they can not control their emtion in drunken state.
