Herbal Essences is a pleasing shampoo for it's smell and heavy conditioners, but it you really want something to volume and hair strengthening abilities, I reccomend Dove's Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It will clean your hair without weighing it down, and add a little lift. Also, just a little tip - when you rise your hair, turn your head upside down. This allows the water to lift your hair from the roots. Blow drying your hair the same way will have the same effect!

Herbal essence is kind of misnomer.. it gives you the feeling that it's composition is from natural herbs.. it's not true. Most of the shampoo brands are very similar. Choose the one you like and stick with it.

I use herbal essences and i find it really good, my hair was quite weak as its long, and now they dont break as easy, also it gives a very glossy finish. It smells really nice aswell! Just try a few out and see which one gives your hair a healthy glow.

professional products are best, especially if prescribed by your stylist.
The shampoos you find in drug stores are watered down which requires you to use more, and most leave a build up on you hair which could result in more breakage, and problems with chemical services (ie... perms, color) in the future.

no, use salon products. They dont contain as much silicon. Silicon makes your hair shiny, but does not provide other than that.

it smells nice but i would recommend something you can get at a salon, like bed head, paul mitchell, etc...a consultant can help you find the right one for your needs.
