That is 2 very separate questions.
Mugabe - Anything to be said about him would be censored.
The rest of Zimbabwe - Bloody nice people (those that I have met anyway)

Never met anyone from Zimbabwe, but I know that Mugabe needs to be overthrown, he's killing his own people. His country used to be the bread basket of Africa, but now prople are starving although he denies it. Film crews have shown the truth. He took the land back from the white farmers which some may say was fair enough, but did he really need to murder and torture them? Also why didn't he let the black farm workers work the land to provide for his country? No, he decided that they were the white mans friends and they also suffered. Something needs to be done about this man.

I have only ever met one person from Zimbabwe who is polite, entusiastic, motivated and an overall good person. Obviously as with any nationality/race/culture there will be good people and bad people.
As for Mugabe I think power has gone to his head. He has used his power for his own personal agenda rather than for the good of the people he should be looking after. With all the election rigging and the way opposition supprters are treated (as reported in the media) I think he is incredibly paranoid and also twisted. I don't think he is a good person.

I think the people of Zimbabwe are being led towards the collapse of their country by a man who outwardly appears to be insane,(I could be wrong, but I don't think I am). Mugabe is a classic old school Tin Pot Dictator. His people are downtrodden and fearful, so would I be if I had to live there.

I was born in Zimbabwe - 1976 and I feel it is a hauge shame how Mugabe has been allowed to slowly destroy the country. Zimbabwe people - otherwise known as Zimbabweans - are great people - naturally :-)

Mugabe is an angry man who wants revenge against white people who colonised zimbabwe, to some extent it is understandable for someone to be angry but his anger is leading to an iall time high inflation rate of over 1000%. He is angry at Blair but his anger is leading to more poverty to the people he is supposed to save and lead, Zimbabweans suffer more now at the hands of Mugabe than they did at the hands of the white people who vehemently ruled the country decades ago. My Conclution?, Mugabe is a f**k off.

Simply put I think Mugabe is a despot who should be overthrown! His crimes against Zimbzbwe are unspeakable, all he has done is pillage the nation for his own gratification. He quashes free speech, tortures his political oponents. As for the people I can only feel sorrow and hope that their suffering will soon be over... South Africa should put more political pressure on to him!

Mugabe, god only knows why the world has let him get away with his crimes against his people and humanity. Amazing that the US and Britain can invade so many other tyrannies etc but not zim, perhaps they dont fancy africa? Zimbabwean people (except those who support Mugabe, and its not actually that many) and the country itself are wonderful.
