Astrology is a hobby of mine. I don't believe in everything horoscopes say. But since I have it as a hobby I've done some research on the way it came to be. And Astrologers were scientists and mathematicians and they are considered to be called Astronomers now. All they did was study the stars and 'believed' by doing so they could predict future occurrences. So they go beyond today's Astronomer's, of course. But that passage you wrote, really doesn't go with Astrology. If it did, then it would also mean that any science that you can think of does too. Which would have to mean that our whole way of life is wrong. But I think that that passage is more so talking about Witch Craft and the powers of which no one is supposed to meddle with. Hence the "wickedness".

Do I believe in the astrology that you find in newspapers and the random websites that charge you to predict your lovelife? Not that kind, no.

But the as the moon affects the tide and the oceans of the world, I must say that I could understand how something such as that could affect the human body in some way... especially when the human body is made up of more than 3/4ths water.

I believe it's probable though debatable in what kind and how large an effect it actually may have on the human body.

there is a common wrong perception to astrology.
astrology is not just one sign like aries, taurus, etc.
that is just our sun sign. in matter fact, astrology is more complex, it has sun, moon, till pluto sign varied positioned in twelveth houses.
it is a fact in science that an event in one place for example a birth of a person, there's a phenomena in the cosmos. these two events are different events but have correlation. so we can learn from astrology wisely.
it is also not about personal/individu, astrology (observing the cosmos phenomena) can be useful to help us understanding phenomena which is happening in our universe for ex in this earth.
it is also a fact in psychology that moon activities (full moon, half moon, etc) does affect certain people's behaviour.

I believe it is the work of the devil. Read Deuteronomy 18:9-12 Christians should stay away from that.It is an abomination to God to practice such things.
