go get a paternity test if you are not sure that the child is yours. Be prepared for the answer though, if that baby is yours - you are responsible for it no questions and you will be expected to step up to the plate. If on the other hand that baby is not yours and you have become used to the idea of being a father it can be traumatic. Good luck

Yes, if its yours. No, if it's not. Take the test!!! She could wait until she delivers and than make you paid. Wouldn't it be nice to know in advance that you're a Daddy...Or until you are with a new GF...now wouldn't that be fun. Look guys, it takes two. If you don't won't these problems, there are at least a few ways to stop it. 1) use a condom, or if that doesn't work, use: 2) sorry, I have a headache. 3) I like you, but I wouldn't want to ruin anything. Why should you guys have all the fun and then say...it's not mine. Hello! We are 2006, there are no more excuses for you. Take action or keep it in your pants. You can't always blame the girl. We all have choices here and it's time you made yours.

It is better to get the test done, than to have doubts as to wether or not the child is yours. If you have doubts then it will effect you and stick with you until the question is answered. If the child is yours take responsibility for it. If it is not, then you have to choose to be a part of the child life or not. The problem is choice. We choose to have unprotected sex (male and female) both sexes are responsible.
If neither partner wants a baby, the female as well as the male should take steps to prevent the birth of the child. This can be done in the form of abstinence (both sexes), condoms (both sexes), birth control. It works out better when both people are using protection.

just because the ex didn't get a paternity test, doesn't mean you can't ask for one. if SRS is the one trying to make you pay- the burden of proof that you're the father is on them, you can request a paternity test and they have to pay for it. however, if your child support is already court ordered and you've been paying and you never spoke up before- you're going to have to continue paying the child support even if you aren't the father.

It all depends on yourself or what the judge say. If you feel that the baby isn't yours get tests done. All you need is a drop of the baby's saliva and yours then they can check if it is yours or not. If it is yours then you need to face up to the responsibility. There are a lot of people out there that can't even have kids. You guys must realise that your TOOL isn't a toy...

sounds like you should grow up. If you're old enough to have sex..then you should be responsible enough..to use protection..or at least take responsibility for your actions. No one else..should have to take care of your baby. No man, woman or government..get a job..and buy that kid some diapers.

Request to have one done.
It's obvious that you, or someone you know, is attempting to escape child-support payments.
Step up, own up, and take on the responsibility that you yourself created.
Find out, and if the baby is in fact yours, play your part.
Good luck.
