Don't go to a bar. while you may find a strage stranger who will be looking for the same thing your looking for the experience proably will not be the same or as good.
Go to where your interests are. As a example if you like to read go to the book store. Find someone reading a book your interested in and strike up a conversation about the book. After 5 minutes ask if they want to sit down to talk. Share some of yourself and learn a bit about them. Establish a rapport because its not going to happen otherwise (or at least not with anybody who would make the experience that much greater!) If you can talk to this person for more then 30 minutes and you have a rapport ask them to a more private place. Your home/appartment is the best bet. Start to steer the conversation to ...well honestly something that would arouse your hopeful partner. You have to get them interested before you can take your next step or they will be scared off but if you get them thinking along the same line you are 90% of your job is done. If they are playing along with your line of conversation and even getting into it! (a big plus) just lean over and give them a kiss. From that point on its either going to happen or your finished but thats the best way (or at least the voices in my head tell me so) =P

I can understand the fantasy of sleeping with a complete stranger, although I wouldn't recommend it. It isn't hard, surely. There are thousands of desperado's online, waiting to get laid. There are also thousands across the state that you are in, in local bars and clubs. They are everywhere, and they rapidly multiply.
