Hi Dee!

It is important to understand the difference between weight loss and fat loss. Weight loss typically involves the loss of fat, water and muscle. A dieter can lose weight without losing much fat. Ideally, overweight people should seek to lose fat and preserve muscle, since muscle burns more calories than fat. Generally, the more muscle mass one has, the higher one's metabolism is, resulting in more calories being burned, even at rest. Since muscles are more dense than fat, muscle loss results in little loss of physical bulk compared with fat loss.

Having said this, Many experts agree that a realistic goal for weight loss should be around 1 pound (mass) (half a kilo) per week. Adjusting your lifestyle to incorporate physical exercise and healthy eating is the best way to lose weight permanently.

I hope this helps.

There is no such answer. It all depends on your weight, and how much your body can go. Everyone is different. I know people who lost 60 lbs in a month but off course they had from where to lose it. It is harder for skiny people to lose the weight than it is for bigger people.
Visit my website at www. beaturlbs.com if you or anyone wants to lose weight. I have lost 6 lbs and 7.25 inches in my first week on these products.

I have always heard that about 2 pounds a week is considered safe. I would say about 8-10 pounds a month
