i don't know if you can copy HL2 or not. It is irrelevant - illegal copying of HL2 is controlled through registration of the keycode. The keycode can only be assigned to one person. This code is authenticated when you play. make 100 copies of the CD - who cares? only 1 person can be playing at a time, anyway.

Why else do you think a single player game requires a net connection?

but you want two copies.

this is what you do:

find someone selling theirs on ebay cheap.

getting the code reassigned is accomplished through valve customer support by proving you own the keycode you are trying to register. anyone who buys the used game once the code has been registered will have to deal with this, so the value of the used game is exceptionally diminished. i paid 99 cents for mine (plus shipping), and zilch to get the code reassigned to me, once i proved i won the auction.

U cant. If its orignal, the makers put something in the DVD which makes it un-copyable.

Don't ask how to do this in a public forum, LOL...

It's not legal to circumvent copyright protection.
