Hmmm, let's see. Do they in any way, replace the word God or Jeus. If so, then I would say they still represent God and Jesus, and therefore no. However, remeber, as a new Christian, you are still learning how to live your life for Christ. In time, God will take the curse words away from you, as you let him guide your life.

If you keep the things that are noble, pure, kind, true, honest, just...etc...within your thoughts & around your person...then all that foul stuff will quickly go away. If you replace a word with something that sounds similar..you are still invoking that thought in your mind as well as in the mind of others. So try just avoiding those types of metaphors. Use something instead that is far different, such as the previous examples given..like "horse feathers" or "my apron pocket". If nothing else it will open an invitation for someone that may overhear you..to question you as to why you used that phrase..allowing you a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel!

Well I have gotten down to the following:

1) Dag nab it
2) Mother Puss bucket
3) Mother Freshen Up

You will work on the mouth as the Holy Spirit works on you. This is a really good question though. You will still have the occasional slips. But don't beat yourself down. Just ask forgiveness and keep on going.

So what if you cuss... Jesus wants all of you not just your obedience. He isnt interested in what you can do for him either... for our righteous deeds are like filthy rags before a holy and pure God. Isaiah 64:6.

Christianity is not based on what you can do to please God... it is about whether you wish to serve Jesus because He died so that you can have a future... and whether out of that gratitude... you wish to let others know so that they can be with you in the eternity that awaits you?

Do you believe in God? Well so does the devil! What sets you apart? That is the question every sincere person must ask themselves.

sure you can. You can also say in the name of the empire or force ****, or death star dammit, or in the name of jabba the hut, or when somone sneezes you can say--may the force be with you. If someone has doubts about doing something say Use the force or you can say do or do not there is no try

Ask Jesus what he would like you to say? His word tells us to let our yea be yea and our no be no - but many of us have a hard time letting it stop at that - but if you really want that to be a change, he'll give you a substitute. My mother's is - oh my apron pocket! Don't ask me why, it's just the one that was given to her!

The Bible says to walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. God delivered my from a very foul mouth. So be careful and seek Him on it. I have taken to saying "Blast" but thats just me.

I teach my children to mean what they say. Most people who use f*** don't intend to communicate anything about sex (or s*** anything about digestive discharge, or a** anything about a body part). My recommendation, whether you eventually convert to Christianity or not, is to control what you say. It will benefit you in so many contexts in your life.

Great question. Many of my church friends do exactly what you're talking about inventing phrases such as "I'm going to kick your trash" lol
