from the woman who hurt you badly? I am an artist and I would like to paint this man a picture as a way of saying that I am sorry for making a poor choice. Would you like something like that? Would it make him feel better?

If a woman hurt me really bad, she couldnt paint me a picture and then think everythings back to the way it was .I would think the picture is nice but would want action and to talk it out (if you can)

I think before surprising him with a painting you may just try to talk to him, see how he is doing. Maybe he has moved on and the wound has healed and he is ready to accept a gift from you. Maybe he is still struggling and seeing you again will only make things worse, let alone be reminded of the hurt each day by this painting. So email him or call him, see how he is doing and where in the process he is.

Depends on the nature of a person, but i really wish you would b able to come over his heart :) best of luck, waise painting really attracts other and this could b the best way i guess to present hand made things which will show ur concerns and care for him
