Love. There is only one God whether you are a Christian or Muslim. It is us men, God's supposed followers, who twist His words and wage war on His Holy Name.

ALLAH is "Ar-Rehman" meaning - 'The Most Merciful'
So when i think about ALLAH the first thing that comes is "LOVE"
But then when i look at my sins, i fear for myself, as ALLAH is also "Al-Qahhar" meaning - 'The Most Powerful'
So because of my sins I fear HIM.
'Iman' or 'Faith' is a condition of a Man which is in between the above conditions, that since 'To Err is Human' we fear the accountability of those sins. But then as ALLAH is 'The Most Gracious', 'The Most Merciful' we believe that HE will neglect my sins and pardon me when i repent so I Love HIM

The first thing comes to my mind when I think of Allah, that Allah can see my doings and hear my words and that He knows what I am thinking....so I have to be careful.

Love -
Allah the Exalted says meaning:
Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Aali Imran 3:31)
Thus the love of Allah necessitates following the commands of the Messenger of Allah with hope for reward and fear of punishment in the Hereafter.

Love to the limits of keeping respect, and fear to the limits of not loosing hope. The Muslim is like a bird flying by both wings; the wing of fear and the wing of hope, and this balance between them make things perfect.

The concept of love and fear are coupled when we talk about ALLAH, THE LORD. It is both LOVE and FEAR that makes us near to HIM. LOVE as HE CREATED THIS ENTIRE UNIVERSE, BEAUTIFUL and Livable, and FEAR of HIM, so that we can abstain from SINS and EVIL.
