You don't have to work there to know that the average meal bought at McDonalds is NOT healthful food. Most fast-food restaurants have all of their nutritional information available in store and on the web.

Certainly a healthful meal could be chosen at McDonalds, but its most popular foods are high in fat and calories, nutritionally bereft, and my guess is that there isn't a whole grain in the lot.

I still enjoy a Big Mac and a shake now and again. :-}

I dont know the answer for sure, but last night while watching the news they said in a recent study that mcdonalds chicken nuggets contain less trans fats in comparison to other places like Wendy's, KFC and Burger King.

MacDonald's has some items on it's menu that are healthy, water, non-breaded or fried chicken sandwiches with no sauces on them, and salads are always good for you. To be sure go to the MacDonald's web site and there is a section that tells you the fat grams and calories for each menu item. Most average adults can have roughly 2500 calories per day, and 30 - 50 grams of fat.

It's not healthy - it's common sense. There is high saturated fat contents in most McDonald's food (that is a BAD thing).
