If it isn't too advanced, it can be corrected. It is a terribly painful procedure. Most recession is brought on by improper brushing technique.

No.It can be stoped.If it is too far gone,i mean were roots are exposed,you can have a surgery to replace it.They take flesh from the roof of your mouth and close the exposed Root back up.
