in my opinion, i appreciate some American accents and that i do not hate any, yet some people will be a touch louder than we are used to! those from the north east I fairly like; the ladies people can sound so horny! ( i'm taking under consideration Linda Hamilton as I write that; she's from Maryland). the ny accent is slightly harsh, though, yet no longer undesirable quite. I fairly opt to take heed to a quietly spoken American male with a mellow voice - they sound sophisticated and gentle. learning an American accent will be easier for someone from the South-west peninsula, Scotland or eire, as they actually have a rhotic accent, so the inflections will be more desirable standard than for me for instance, being from the English midlands
