lay on your back with your legs up in the air 90 degrees open your legs with no effort as far as you can then when you close them add your oomph do as many as you can. Also to tone do squats( sittting in the chair that isn't there)

I am prone to thicker thighs and running was what helped me a ton. It also slimmed my ginormous butt down. You have to watch what you eat as well. There is also a machine at the gym that you sit on while you squeeze your legs together. There are pads on the leg part of the machine that rest on the inside of your knees. You can put it on any weight you want but I recommend a lighter weight and more reps if your looking to slim. Do 3-5 reps of 20 on no more than 30 lbs. There is another machine that will probably be right next to this one where the pad sits on the outside of your knees while you press outwards rather than inwards. This one is wonderful for that troublesome "pocket" area that likes to accumulate on the outside of you upper thigh.
30 minutes of running per day + good diet + the leg machine = beautiful thighs in 3 weeks!
