12:1
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.
What do you think?
Could the Woman mean that Church
the sun meaning Jesus Christ "Church of Jesus Christ"
The moon being Satan, since we was ruler of the Morning star, and was casted out of heaven, being at Jesus Christ feet?
12 Stars are the 12 Apostles the will Judge Israel ...

She is not an earthly woman. Satan has not had any special hatred toward any human female. Rather, this is a symbolic woman. That is, she stands for something else. This is shown in the Bible’s last book, Revelation, where more information is given about her. There “the woman” is described as being “adorned with the sun, standing on the moon, and with the twelve stars on her head.” To help us to find out who this “woman” represents, note what Revelation goes on to say about her child: “The woman brought a male child into the world, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne.”—Revelation 12:1-5, The Jerusalem Bible.
Learning who or what the “male child” is will help us to find out whom or what “the woman” represents. The child is not a literal person, just as the woman is not a real human female. The scripture shows that this “male child” is “to rule all the nations.” So the “child” represents God’s government with Jesus Christ ruling as King. “The woman,” therefore, represents God’s organization of faithful heavenly creatures. Just as the “male child” came forth from “the woman,” so the King, Jesus Christ, came forth from the heavenly organization, the body of loyal spirit creatures in heaven that work together to carry out God’s purpose. Galatians 4:26 calls this organization “the Jerusalem above.” So, then, when Adam and Eve first rebelled against God’s rulership, Jehovah made arrangements for a Kingdom government that would serve as a hope for lovers of righteousness.

The woman is All of Israel, the Sun, Moon & Stars were first used to describe Israel in Joseph's dream, where they all bowed to him in Genesis. The Biblical Law of 1st Mention is applicable here, as a thing is 1st mentioned, it carries that same trait throughout the Scriptures in prophetical use. The manchild is not Jesus, because (He is caught up to Heaven at the mid-point of the Tribulation, Jesus ascended of His Own Power, 2,000 yr ago) of the Biblical statement, "Each must reproduce after it's own kind." Since the woman represents(many people) All Israel, the Manchild has to represent a group of people as well. It therefore is the 144,000 that are Sealed after the Church is caught up to Heaven. The 144,000 is shown in Heaven on Mt. Sion with Jesus in Rev 14:1, this proves they were caught up to Heaven as it says in Rev 12:5 about the Manchild being caught up to God's Throne. They are the 2nd group caught up, the 1st being the Church. The 3rd group to be caught up is the 2 Wittnesses at the end of the Great Tribulation. Interesting concept, 3 Raptures, amazing how many times God uses 3 in the Scriptures. One last item, the Church is "The Body of Christ" He is a Male, therefore His Body must be Male. To put Jesus' Head on a Female Body would be Blasphemy. The Scriptures say "as the Church, we grow together unto a perfect man, according to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13)." The Church is Male! The angel in Rev 21:9-10 tells John "the Bride, The Lamb's Wife, is the New Jerusalem." I'm not making this up, read what the Bible says, get away from man's traditions. Jesus said, "By your traditions you make the word of God of none effect." Paul said an allagory in the relationship of Jesus to the Church is that of a Bride to her Husband, taking instruction & guidance from Him. It was a parable, not a reality.

The woman could mean the church, and the crown being the 12 apostles or the woman could also mean Israel, and the stars being the twelve tribes. I don't know about the moon.

the Woman clothed with the Sun...represents Israel. She gave birth to the Messiah...the 12 stars are the Patriachs/Disciples (also there are several meanings for the # 12) Yes it is possible that the moon represents Satan, since all God's enemies shall be a "footstool"

A woman in any book of prophecy in the Bible IS a church! And the verse you referenced is the church that Jesus started.

Revelations is largely regarded by Biblical scholars as the most nonsensical and pointless part of the Bible. It is really impossible to guess at the intentions of its' author because the symbolism is so vague it could mean just about anything.
