All the answers are good on this one but there is one thing that also causes alot of bad behavior in these children RED DYE in food and Hawaiian Punch etc Jello bad stuff. Allergies also. Prime example my grandson was so hyper and diagnosed with ADHD etc. Meds the whole deal then he was allergy tested he has some allergies. And asthma. Well now hes so much better. But i have seen children like you mention have real problems with the Red Dye etc.

Diet can affect ANY child's behavior. Jamie Oliver, a chef in Britain, started a campaign to serve only real food in their school kitchens. After they switched over to the real food, the school nurse reported that she hadn't had to use the asthma machine since the switch and the teachers reported that behavior problems were drastically reduced. Children were healthier, behaving better, and doing better with their school work. Try to feed your child only real food, if you can't pronounce you probably shouldn't eat it. Processed and packaged food is killing our children. The children in grade school now are not expected to live as long as their parents. Juvenile Diabetes is at an all time high, all due to poor diet.
