it's the competitiveness of bidding against another, the thrill of getting a valuable item for less and the possibility of being outbid at the last moment

I hate ebay. I think it's just a big sham. Everytime I bid on something I'm immediatly outbidded. I know it has to be some type of program by the seller that is automatically outbidding me and I don't think it's fair.

ebay is great for both the buyer & seller
I do both on ebay & unfortunately there are no programmes for me to up my bids & some things i sell on ebay are cheaper than what i paid for originally but thats the chance you take.i have also bought some good things on ebay for a cheap price to.I can sit on their site for hours.

Wowww, for me is boring, may be cuz I dont have to much money in my credit card to buy things hehehe
