Guys are attracted to women for lots of different reasons... things like intelligence are hard to discover about a woman because you actually have to engage in conversation and do some good listening.
My question back to you would be "Do you find guys that like you for who you are attractive?"

I ONLY find intellectual girls attractive. Intelligence is my biggest turn on. I don't care what you look like as long as you have BRAINS. I like to be able to have a conversation with my girlfriend that's a little bit more substantial than the weather. I was with one girl for eight years; she was a bit nuts in the end (not my fault!), but she was my intellectual superior in every way (and I've got a 184 IQ!), which was what I loved about her. Never a dull moment.
Call me an intellectual snob if you want but I generally have no time for stupid people of either sex.

I, for one, certainly do. They usually know what they want and how to express it, albeit in a circuitous fashion. I've had beauty and been envied for it. nothing to envy: beauty for pure beauty alone is boring and unstimulating after a while. Beware though guys - an intellectual woman will generally want a brain in return, as well as the other things

After spending a lot of my life hiding my intelligence, I have since discovered that men like it.. a LOT.. so no more hiding.. But the truth is, intelligent MEN know to look beyond the surface to find out what is in that package.. and an intelligent woman knows that it is OK to be intelligent and that any man who is threatened by that intelligence is not worth the time it takes to ignore them.

Yes, but not girls who *describe* themselves as being "intellectual" because that's just incredibly pretentious!
Doing the whole "ooh, ooh, look, I'm so intellectual" thing is no different from the dumb-but-prettys and their whole "ooh, ooh, look, I'm so gorgeous" thing!
So...intellectual, confident, modest, mature and a little self-effacing is probably best :-)

Hell yeah... Having a conversation with someone (and intellectual one - rather than about soaps or music) is a great turn on...
Prefer brains over beauty... If they come as a package, PAY DIRT!!!

That relies upon on the lady. also, some adult males placed a lot power into being sensible that they overlook to study some social skills. i in my opinion love intellectuals, as long as they have a personality and a humorousness too.

As long as she's physically attractive, a guy will like a girl whether she's smart or dumb as a post...most guys are pretty shallow.

For guys first thing is she should be beatiful and attractive. We are least bothered about their intellect and knowledge. Being beatiful if she is still intellect then its of a rare kind. There she will be in drivers seat.
