does anyone no a nice place to go on a holiday in australia. somewhere with nice beaces and good shopping.

That pretty much wraps up most of Australia. At this time of year north Queensland is the warmest. Sydney is unusually cool right now.
You dont say when you are coming, however I am sure wherever you go you will have a great time.

Queensland has very nice beaches, the shopping there is good. But it's a bit quiet generally speaking and the uh people there are a bit on the odd side.
NSW - Sydney is nice too, Melbourne is good for shopping. Sydney is good for shopping and beaches it's more of a city/busy kind of place if that's what you are looking for. Melbourne is artsy, but kind of a poor man's sydney if you get my drift. And it's relatively quiet compared to sydney. Good luck
