i only need to know just how they work so i can get a job in customer service example if the interviewer ask when would you use excel and where would you use. i need to get this info. asap thank you in advance

Pick up the Microsoft Office for Dummies book. It will give you a great overview and if you do get the job, it can give you a great start on learning to use the software. I like the series. Nothing to be ashamed of in it. Not expensive and well worth having.

type excel into your search.... i use yahoo to search... there are different links... check them out... i also found a free download for excel. Excel is used to make spreadsheets...... u probably have some sort of program like that on your computer... you can do the same for word.... make sure you specify microsoft WORD.... that is your word processing program... typing letters, faxes, memos and such...

go to your college and take a quick computer class. that way you will know. sometimes its free, most of the time depending on your state. or ask someone that is Good at computers so they can show you. showing is better than telling. thank you
