I am not criticizing anyone's faith, but it seems arrogant that someone might assume they know exactly God's mind and intention.

Those who believe the Bible is the Word of God speak confidently of what God says because they can read and understand the Bible. If we think of God as totally unknowable (as agnostics do), then this claim to know the mind of God sounds absurd.

Those who believe they have a special relationship with God by having His Holy Spirit living inside them (a basic Christian belief) will claim to be led by His Spirit, and thus they know something of what God communicates to people.

For some it may be a matter of conceit to claim God as a source for their answer to a Yahoo question, but for others it's a deeply held truth because they know God through the Bible or through the inner communication of the Holy Spirit.

I definitely agree that it can appear arrogant but ultimately if that is what they choose to believe let them it doesn't hurt anyone just shows an aspect of what they believe which helps you choose whether to personally exclude or include their words into your mind and beliefs.

because those people dont have common sense. They can not do thier own research so they rely on what is told too them. Its that or they are crazy because they think that "god" spoke to them.
