No Skill Fruit Tart
Submitted by: EBSEPKE
Rated: 5 out of 5 by 3 members Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes Ready In: 45 Minutes
Yields: 6 servings
"Just like a seasonal fruit pie - wonderful for people who have trouble making the perfect crust. My favorite is blackberries with peaches, but you can use pretty much any seasonal fruit that you love. This one's a no-brainer!"
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup cold water
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 cup fresh blackberries
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and salt. Cut in shortening by rubbing between your fingers until the mixture resembles oatmeal. Gradually stir in water until dough is just wet enough to hold together. Knead briefly, just so the dough holds together without crumbling. Place in the refrigerator while preparing the fruit.
3. In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar and cornstarch. Add the peaches and blackberries, and toss gently to coat. Set aside.
4. Roll out the crust dough into a rough circle about the size of a dinner plate, and place on a flat baking sheet. Pile the fruit into a level mound in the center of the dough, leaving 1 to 2 inches of exposed dough around the edge. Throw out any juices that may have accumulated in the fruit bowl. Fold the dough up over the fruit - the edges should cover some of the fruit and berries, but not reach the center of the tart.
5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the fruit is bubbly and the crust is golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into wedges and serving.

Take 1 banana per person. Do Not peel the banana
Take 5 squares of chocolate per banana, any chocolate will do, I like to use milk choc or one with a runny caramel centre.
Heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Make a slit from the stalk end to to the bottom of the banana, go through the skin and into the flesh of the banana but not all the way through.
Now push the chocolate pieces into the slit along the length of the banana.
You can add some rum or alcohol of your choice at this stage if you like, I don't but you can if you want.
Wrap each banana in foil and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
unwrap and eat from the skin, the chocolate melts into the banana flesh and is gorgeous.

the finest component i'm able to imagine of is Rice Crispy Treats. you could upload chocolate chips, peanut butter or use distinct sorts of cereal to cause them to. all of us loves them and they are stackable, squishable and conveyable. The recipe is on the field. Hershy's Cocoa has a recipe on the tin for superb tarts that do not even choose topping. that's uncomplicated to make too and SOOO sturdy :P different uncomplicated treats comprise belongings you purchase on the keep, and crock pot deserts that you serve warmth. finally, you could grab some cartons of Ice Cream and Syrup, cones... and enable all of us have ice cream mmmmm.
