He doesn't know but I know that he wouldn’t not mix business and pleasure. It's been 10 mouths of anguish, I can’t take it any more :(

If you have reason to believe he'd be interested and it's that important to you, then sure, quit your job. I'd line something else up first if I were you, but yeah, I'd do it. Love is more important than a job any day of the week. :)
