God is the Supreme being that has created this cosmos and all the beings in it.
If you look at it from the religious point of view, I am sure that he is watching over all of us.

Then concept of God has been created by man (and maybe rightly so) to instill a fear in humans against erring in norms and laws of society.

That he exists, is beyond doubt, for this existence must have some creator. And I am sure that a creator who has taken all the pains to create the wonders around us, will definitely done it with love. As far as untimely or violent death or injury is concerned, well, I speak as a parent- (and our creator is our parent) I would not be performing my parenting duties properly if I did not punish my children (On my personal level, I don't mean corporal punishment)

Well my dear friend, many books have been written in order to answer such questions but I will try to give you a brief idea. First question: What is God? there is no common definition of God. What we all agree is that God is a being (if any) who has created this universe. However, there are disagreements on what characterisitics such a being might have. Does God Exist? We have to be careful when answering this question. Does God as a being beyond our understanding who/which caused the universe exist? MAYBE and we are working on that through science. Does a personal God as religions introduce to us (the one who has human characterisitics , who forgives and orders and makes hell and heaven) exist? Absolutely NOT. And your last question must be rephrased. Would you change the way you live if you realise there is someone watching you ? would you be a better person since you are afraid of hell ? If yes, your approach to life is incorrect. We are the ones who should watch our actions regardless of existence of a God. We must be good no matter if there is a reward or a punishment and whether God exists or not should not affect the way we live. Good Luck

what is God?~ the one life energy that creates all things, that is in all things, that IS all things (and the no-things)

does God exist? depends on your definition of God and exist-God doesn't exist for some people, but that doesn't mean that God isn't the ultimate truth- just that some people choose not to be aware of the experience of God. this is the beauty of free will. but we all do experience God, or Life (the same thing) even atheists are experiencing Life- and that is God- no matter how or what you perceive

Soul searching is someting that everyone goes through sooner or later. I did mine about 10 years ago.
To me GOD is not just a spirit that watches us from the heavens, but the spirit of all the goodness that surrounds us.
The birds, the trees, the flowers are all a part of this eternal spirit.
Then there are the small miracles that happen every day. They are the live proof that we are being watched over. For example; You tire goes flat. Then 5 minutes later a kind stranger offers to help you change it.
GOD works through each and every soul in some way. Angels aren't just spirit beings, but people too.

Do you doubt the existence of God? well, here is what i heard from someone who is quite long already involved in Theology and Business as well.
He said "if you want to see the fact of the existence of God, then i can not give the exact one. You can only Believe."
"How can we believe if we don't see the fact and truth?"

"When you was only 5 years old, you went to school to study. You are still in Kindergarten or probably Playgroup. When the teacher taught you the lesson, do you accept it? Do you believe the teacher? Do you see any facts and truth in her teachings? Now that you have grown up, you know that the lesson you received is true, fact and correct. It's just the same with God. You have to believe first in order to know whether it is true or not. Eventually, when you grow up, you will know that it doesn't need any fact because it was true already."

HOW can anyone doubt that God, created all of this, that all of this could not have happened by throwing a bunch of atoms and dust up into the air, and having it all land in such a perfect way? How can anyone look into the eyes of a newborn baby,and not know this is no accident? How can anyone see a flower like a rose, that is so perfect in its appearance, as to catch your breath, that smells so wonderful, it makes you feel good, a flowe that is here to help nature create oxygen and carbon dioxide, and also provided pollen for bees to make honey?

OF course there is GOD. HE exists. Just look at the trees, the grass, the water flowing, the stars and moon and how it can rain on one side of town and the sun shines on the other. As the sun and rain comes down on the just and the unjust.
Man cannot explain all these hurricanes, etc..but the BIBLE already has--many years ago.

My pal the actual undeniable truth that you're respiration & YOUR heart is thrashing IS better than sufficient info THAT GOD EXISTS. do not tell me you created your self or your mothers and fathers created themselves. No body who has ever lived can declare that they created themselves. in case you elect eternal existence, do your maximum appropriate to be contain Jesus on your existence because he's the way the truth and the existence. God or anybody else , someone has created this world and is governing it like every country that has a government.

You are free to think that there is no God but it doesn't have any advantage for you but if you think that there is God, there is another world after this world, you will get a deep relaxation in your life. The feel that someone always is taking care of us, loves us, helps us and finally will punish our enemies , the bad people in the other world , is great.

If you really believe in that someone is looking at you always, you are ashamed to do sin.
