Absolutely!! An anxiety attack or a so-callled panic attack can cause all these symptoms. When all this starts to happen, try to remain calm, and eventually everthing will pass. The reason for the tiredness and sleepiness is because you have just put all your energy into worrying about what was going to happen to you. RELAX! You can see a doctor, explain all this to him, and he can prescribe medication to ease all the symptoms you are experiencing.

You REALLY need to see a doctor. This could be an anxiety attack, but it could also be other health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, hypothyroidism, etc, etc. You should have a doc check you out and get a blood panel done. Better safe than sorry! If you get another one, I would even recommend having someone drive you to the emergency room because if it is an anxiety attack, from what you described it's a doozy! And if it's not...then you need to see a doctor ASAP!
Many Blessings,

you need to get yourself checked up immediately for medical as well as psychological reasons, giving rise to these symptoms. it may be due to rise in blood-pressure, or as you say, some heart problem. but instead of driving at some conclusions at random, making you more worried and anxious, why not straight fix an appointment with aphysician first, who would do the primary chech-up, and then direct you to the cocerned specialist.if you have a tendency to get nervous, thinking and doing nothing will only aggravte the problem. you may not be getting enough sleep at night, so when you are sleepy, just rest, after getting up, have a refreshing drink, tea or coffee. i think you have a very low level of motivation to do things, or take important decisions, so when time comes, your body resents it according to the instructions from you subconscious mind, i don't want to do anything, and then you put up all these symptoms to avoid action. in any case, specilist can ony diagnose your problem professionally, i can only visualise and guide you to a path.

when i have an anxiety attack, my chest feels like its caving in. my mind starts racing. i can't breathe. i sometimes get dizzy and start to black out cause i can't breathe. my mind starts asking the scary questions i don't want to think about. and a little while later i'm better. i don't really get over it for a while though. I hope this helps.

It sounds like a panic attack which can obviously be part of anxiety. You should ask your doctor about it. It's very manageable and not uncommon.

It could be, but it also sounds like something that may be neurological. I would suggest you speak to your doctor to get a full check-up to rule out any physical causes before you assume this is anxiety and attempt to deal with it as such.

Yes, it sounds like it may be an anxiety attack, but I strongly, strongly urge you to speak with your doctor about this...it may be something else.
