Jesus didn't say worship saints or a Pope or anything like that. Why not just follow that New Testament, Its like Jesus wasted his time on earth and People can't get it right,

Were not Jesus. Jesus died on the cross so you can't replace him with a priest or a cardinal or a rock. Jesus forgave people and that was Jesus not anyone else.

The inner consciousness is the god (christ or allah) listen to the voice inside.God is formless. The cahtolics pray the pope to awaken/kindle the inner consciousness. But to awaken it he should have experienced that state of consciouness. In most cases popes are only a nomination to the church and not a person who attained that state of mind.Whereas the saints are the experienced souls they know that they live in this human body as one lives in a house. Aristotle,Socrates were great saints. They can bestow peace and happiness on to humanity. Thus praying a realised saint is more appropriate than god or others. He alone alone can show us the path to god irrespective of the religion, caste, creed, sex, color?Keep looking out for a saint in this life who could show u ,guide u to experience the highest state of mind and make u lose the consciouness of body, time, space. Omen.

Actually... you got it backwards. Catholics ask for the "intercession" of past saints to help them pray. Other denominations just pray straight to God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.
As for the intercessory prayers... although I'm a Catholic, I've got a few qualms about it...

Catholics and many other Christians believe in the Communion of Saints where all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When you die and go to heaven, you do not leave this family.

Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints. You, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary the mother of Jesus, and Mother Teresa.

As part of this family, you may ask your family and friends here on earth to pray for you. Or you may also ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Andrew, or your deceased grandmother in heaven to pray for you.

With love in Christ.

i dont know much, but i do know that the Pope acts as the chief representitive of God on earth. God can't be present here on earth so he uses the Pope and other clergy to teach on his behalf

Well now why would they do that, that would mean that the pope wouldn't get rich and the church wouldn't get all them statues in it...They wouldn't have gold in the celling of the roof of the temples lol

we do but we never crticized others who believe otherwise. what's important is that one believes in a higher power and knows how to respect that power as well as other people's beliefs.
