do you say: "your a bold faced liar"
or
do you say: "your a bald face liar"

Well apparently both phrases are correct, but bold faced liar is way older than bald faced liar

It's "bald" as in "plain" or "obvious". The idea is that a "bald-faced lie" is exposed, thereby rendered it "bald" or uncovered.

"bold" might make sense for a means of lying, but it makes no sense in the phrase. A bold face? I suppose you could stretch the definition to represent a bold liar's face, but that's not the original phrase. ;)

I have heard the term bald faced lie,I think that means you know you are lying and dont even bother to try to hide it.

I only lie if it keep from hurting other feeling, but then I have a bad attitude and if you ask, your getting the truth, even if it hurts.
