If you are looking to lose weight consistently and permanently you will find these 3 keys to success very helpful.
1. Create a "Diet for Life". A healthy diet that will give your body the nutrients it needs without a high caloric intake and also be satisfying for you to maintain for years or a lifetime. Try going to www.ediets.com for some help.
2. Just like your diet you should have a fun and interesting workout plan that you can do on an ongoing basis. Do the things that you like doing and it will be a lot easier to maintain.

3. Persistance is probably the main key. Know that if you are doing 1 & 2 correctly then the results will come. Don't get frustrated if your not losing 20lbs in a week. Keep on working at it and in 3 months you will be healthy and well on your way to a perfect body.
Much Success to you!

Use small plates and medium portions that fit on the plate. Take a bite, put the utensil down until you've chewed all the food. Eat very small amounts of high calorie food - just enough to get the flavor. Say no to anything in which the ingredients include these words: partially hydrogenated, sugar, high fructose, corn syrup, enriched. Say yes to garlic, tomatoes, tomato sauce, a small amount of nuts, olive oil, and spinach. Try to do some form of exercise for 30-60 minutes 4 days a week. Realize that you won't conquer this program quickly. It's a slow process but well worth it.

the best diet it no diet. Avoid fatty foods, cut back on carbohydrates and alcohol and always exercise. there are many alternatives to dieting, just use common sense to avoid all those "bad foods", and change the way you cook your meals. it also helps if your family support you.

Eat less junk (sweets, junk food, between-the-meal snacks...) excersize more (try jogging every dasy for thirty minutes, maybe going to the gym, or do something that requires physical activity and makes you sweat) and stay on schedule with your 3 meals a day. dont eat more or less of what you normally eat. just cut down the junk. dont do everything at once, though, take it step by step. dont cut off all of your junk- suppling products at once. it might be a little too hard.
hope that helps!

burn more calories than you consume in a 24hr period for 8 weeks straight. The military has been doing this for along time. for faster results make the difference between intake and output larger. EXCERCISE! then once the desired weight is attained maintain burn / consumption ratio.
I lost 60lbs doing this and can eat anything I want, just have to burn it off.
