Its hard to say in boxing who is the best because you have different weights and divisions. In no order:
Ali, Carter, Leonard. I believe these three were feared and consistent. You know these names even if you do not watch boxing. Yes there are fighters who are undefeated, but who did they box? What was their biggest challenges. The other three people that would be on this list also would be Formen, Chavez, and Tyson (hes a joke now but in his prime everyone was afraid of him. no joke in boxing that is 50% of the fight). But I could only pick three. Those three fought fights in and outside the ring. A great boxer is more then undefeated. A great boxer knows how to lose and how to come back the next time and win. THAT IS WHAT DEFINES GREATNESS.
