There is a special sippy cup for babies that doesn't leak and works like a cup and bottle. I love this idea, because you don't end up with the fights over breaking them of the bottle. I think my daughter found hers at Walmart.

The best way is at regular intervals, store the breast milk in a sippy cup and give it to the baby for feeding. Let the child get used to drinking the breast milk from the cup and then gradually introduce other feed.

More details, how old is the baby?
Generally at 6 months you can put some water in a sippy cup and just let the baby play with it and show what to do with it. They eventually pick it up in a couple months.
By the way, good idea to skip the bottle...no sence in getting attached to that at all. Forget the girl who answered before me.

I nursed both my babies to 14 months. I began introducing the cup in the 12th month so they could adjust to the feel of it. I put only breast milk in the sippy cup. When I was ready to wean from the breast, I began feeding from the breast less which helped my milk production diminish. I gradually decreased the feedings until my milk production was very low and I could handle the minimal amount of engorgement. You need to decide how often you want to feed, but pay attention to your body and see how you feel.
