yes. the people in it are close-knit and won't let you down. if one soldier is hurt, the others will stay by his side until he is back on US soil, dead or alive. the military is actually a great thing, despite what some liberal media networks want you to think.

Your question is very difficult to answer, but here goes.
First of all,the United States Army is under the authority of the United States President (aka their commander and chief).
Now the US army is damn desciplined and has a reputaion of having one of the world's most formidable soldiers and technology.
I dont see then running around, out of control, killing people etc.Their under the control of their boss that is the President.
So your qestion is indirectly pointed towards the US President.Evidently this question is another question to recruit more Bush bashers or simply cause you have no intelligent question to ask but you still want points.....so here you are with your damned question.
But since i took the trouble of reading your oh! so greatly crafted question...i'll answer it.
The US army is the best in the world,no one has the right to dismay them.I trust them because their filled with men and women that serve their country and freedom.

Errr sort of, as whole a very trust worthy organization, contracts are signed and most leaders are pretty good. However always keep in mind that the mission comes FIRST and orders are orders. So yes you might have a contract that expires on such and such a date but Stop Loss may be activated. Or you might be promised leave (vacation) but then mission comes up and you're called back.

All in all the Army tries to keep the soldiers as happy as they can, heck the soldiers are all volunteers, and faith/trust in the organization what keeps them in it.

Yes and thank God for their devotion. True, a small hand full of troops may have demonstrated poor judgment or even committed some crimes, but the 99.9% of the tens of thousands of them deployed in some 120 countries around the globe and here at home are doing us and the world proud. That is one of the major advantages of an all voluntary force.

It also helps to have one of the most effective, if not the absolute best, Comander-in-chiefs at the helm to lead them.

If the Army and Marines were running the war we would be O.K. Politicians are the untrustworthy. Rumfeld is a untrained civilian running a complicated war. He mismanaged it from day one.
