Kamea (kah-may-ah) The one and only
Miliani (me lee on nee] Gentle Carress
These are Hawaiian names....
Bella (Latin) means "Beautiful"
Cadee (American) means "Pure"
Kisa (Russian) means "Kitty"
I thought Kisa is cute!!
you can look online for baby names if you haven't quite found the right one for your little one" You say you had her for a month...maybe you can find something that means what she is or what she does alot of. Have fun!!!

My cousin had a female grey cat that he named Carbon. But he's a science geek, so I don't know if you'd be all into that.
What about Dusty? I know I've found some grey dust bunnies that are big enough to be cats in my house! (And some of them are made up of cat hair, too!)
One of the best cat names I've heard is one that my friend and I came up with for a barn cat that always runs away from people and tries to hide. We named her Mirage, because you think she's there, but then you blink and she's gone.

I have a grey kitten and my sister named him Gricy, because Gric is grey in spanish. Not exactly my choice of names, but it works really well for him and it sounds like Greasy. It is quite origional.
I just call him Kitten; that is what he responds to.

I like the name Winney, for a female kitten. I don't know why I like that name either, it just has a nice ring to it. Say it, Winney.

If she's a long-hair I like 'Thistledown', short-hair ??? What I have done in the past is go through the dictionary, it's surprising what you can come up with. My daughter did that recently for her puppy and ended up calling her 'Minnow' which I think is really cute.
Good luck and try to give your kitty a name that suits her personality or look soon.

Cloudie or Smokie if you want to keep it simple.
Otherwise, try to come up with your own name by combining two or more. Or you can always use a "purrsonality" name, such as Friskie, Spazie, Spunkie. Cats (and other pets) learn their name better if it ends with an "ie" sound. I like "i e" for females because it seems more feminine than just with a "y".

It's all simply a matter of personal preference. I actually have short hair and guys just like it. And i prefer a person with short hair over a guy with long hair because long tresses tends to make guys look too girly.
