If it were normal, they'd call it sh**butrin. Check in with your doc.

I took Wellbutrin, and after a few months, was so sore, I had to crawl to get anywhere when I first got up in the morning. When I quit taking it, all the soreness when away. As far as you feeling like "sh..", exactly what do you mean by that? (emotionally or physically?) See the person who prescribed it and explain it to them better than you did to us. Check "Wellbutrin" on Wikipedia and see what it says about side effects.

How was you feeling befor? It can take 2 to 4 weeks for the med. to be at the proper level to help you . Read about the side affects, common and unusual ones. I have been on wellbutrin for 4 yrs for me it works . You might want to check with your Dr.

Check with your doctor. All medications react differently for everyone. Some do ok and others need to be changed. However, if you are talking that you don't think it is helping you, please keep in mind that just about all antidepressants need two weeks (sometimes longer) to get built up to full potency in your body. So it often takes at least two weeks to start feeling better when taking an antidepressant.

I use to be on that medication. I felt like that my first 7 days on the medication. I went to the doctor, physiclogist and therapist right away and told them about how I was feeling. Call up your doctor, physiclogist or therapist and tell them how you feel. Remember it takes about one month for the medication to take full effect (passed side-effects).
I hope this helps you out there, good luck with your medication.

Can you explain more of how you feel compared to before? It takes 3 weeks to feel the full effects of these type of meds. Don't be afraid to call or page your Dr. about your concerns. In some cases it needs to be adjusted or maybe you need a diff. med altogether.

I tried Wellbutrin about ten years ago for 3 days. I felt extremely exhausted and unwell. I stopped taking it after 3 days. Everybody is different. I know people who it does nothing for, others it mellows out, others it relieves their depression. Again everyone is different.

I don't think it is normal to feel worse than before. If it is just not helping yet (if you are taking it for depression), that could be normal.

No, I don't think it is normal. Maybe you need a supplemental anti-anxiety medication to take along with it. Maybe something like Lexapro will help alongside the Wellbutrin. Please check with your doctor.
