They had their chance. They knew about atheism and what it took to be "saved," yet they denied it. Will you be sad when they just rot away into nothing for eternity like the rest of us.

This question is for all the Christians who said they would feel sorry for us atheists when we are burning in hell forever.

Funny how they act when the shoe is on the other foot. Now you know how I feel.

Brilliant question! I think you raise a very interesting point. For some Christians, it may not make a difference how they would live their lives if they believed in no God. However, there are some who would possibly be better people as Atheists. For example, there are certain types of Christians who believe it is their duty to convert as many people as they can to Christianity. They believe that the world is bad and doomed to get worse and so they do not even bother to try to improve society. Their whole life's work is to bring people into the church.

Imagine the difference if these types of Christians would become Atheists! There is a chance that they would start to see that they would be better off to spend their time helping with social situations. They would not waste their time trying to "save everyone." Imagine. All those people that they brought into the church all laying there in the ground just like everyone else, whom they didn't bring in. Meanwhile, they could have helped some people to live better earthly lives!

Of course, thankfully, not all Christians are this way. There are the Social Gospelers who see it as their duty to do everything they can to improve society, and help people, regardless of their religions.

I think the point is that we should all use our time the best way humanly possible. It takes knowledge of truth to know what that means. If Christianity is true, then it might well be the best use of time to try to convert everyone. But if not, then you have not made the best use of time.

We should seek the truth and align ourselves with that.

Far too many questions for me to reply in a single sitting. I'm like an F+ typist. It kinda will get truly irritating after a at the same time. Anyway, here is a begin. The hyperlink underneath will deliver you a point of view on what would have occurred if guy adopted God's legislation headquartered totally on His guarantees to guy. It's a truly eye-opener. And make the effort to research that web page if you happen to rather desire the reality. I'd wager your entire questions are spoke back there. The guy who owns the web page is solely powerful. He's a former trade advisor who moved to Mexico and now works as a missionary. Really cool man. And incidentally, I've requested the entire questions you pose this night. I prayed for solutions and insights. It all got here over the years and simply on the correct moments whilst I used to be ready to fully grasp and recognize them so much. God's timing is powerful.

Here's something to think about--let's say that I'm wrong about the Bible, let's assume that it is false. 50 years from now it won't matter because we will both be dead and buried pushing up daisies.

But if it is true, 50 years from now you will be in unspeakable agony, wishing for all of eternity that you had just one minute back on earth to repent of your sins. But there will be no second chance my friend--you are in hell and there is no way out.

Have you ever thought of this? Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow, it could be you, or me, who is translated into eternity this very day! People spend so much time planning for the next 10, 15, 20 years, all the while neglecting eternity. That is very foolish indeed, be wise and prepare to meet your Maker.

Take the time to carefully examine the historic, manuscript, prophetic, biblical, and the internal evidence of the Gospel's themselves.

Whether or not you burn in hell is between you and God. It certainly isn't the business of THIS Christian. Furthermore, I really don't much care what your case may be. Again, none of my business. As for our bodies rotting in the ground, of course they will. The difference between atheists and Christians will become apparent when God decides it's time. What those differences will be are HIS business. I do admit curiosity about your "what it took to be 'saved' ". If I understand atheism, you have nothing to be "saved" from.

First, God is Spirit and those who come to Him must come in Spirit. When we are raised up to meet Jesus, it will be our spirits not our old human bodies. We will have new bodies to last for eternity.
This human body is merely a suitcase and it starts wearing out as soon as one is born. (We won't escape this earth alive.)
The question is, "Where will you be spending eternity? Heaven or Hell."
If the Christians are wrong about Jesus, God, Savior, Heaven, saved, Holy Spirit, then they have maybe missed out on some things that are just great, (i.e. Aids, STD, unwanted pregancies, alcoholism, drug use, stealing, etc)
If the Christians are right, and Athesism is wrong -- you're in trouble dear soul. Hell is real whether you choose to believe it or not.

Ha, ha, ha!!! That's a good one. But I'm afraid I (a non believer) will be rotting in the ground just as much as they will). I am sorry now, that they have the chance to set free from the slavery that churches impose on them, and they're too deluded to listen. When we all are dead, as they say, it'll be too late.

You should really have some respect for other people's beliefs. Obviously that is what you want yourself. Don't judge an entire religion based on a few people. Ever wander why so many atheists disappear without a trace?

I would rather have hope and faith than just believe that once I die there is just...nothing...just rotting. I would have such a depressing, empty life if I ahd not come to know Jesus!

Romans 5:5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
