It doesn't matter how many people pray for you! It won't make a difference! YOU yourself have to do it. Do the affirmations below:-
(Place your right palm on your chest and your left palm at your sternum(slightly below your chest bone) and feel the warmth)
1) I AM IN CONTROL OF THIS SITUATION(repeat 3X)
2) I WILL NOT LET THIS SITUATION AFFECT ME(3X)
3) I AM ALWAYS IN CONTROL OF MYSELF EMOTIONALLY AND MENTALLY.(3X)
I know cos I have anxiety and panic disorder. ;)
Remember, no one can help you if you don't help yourself. Not even God. There's always a GOD spot in the middle of our head~so slowly you'll learn how to tap into it and learn to live with mindfullness where no disease or syndrome can affect you. Slowly..you can e-mail me at my personal email for guidance fra_lee2003@yahoo.com

Hi Chicago Gal,
What you are going thru is panic attack or anxiety attack. I have suffered this. I will tell you how to fix this problem. Get up quickly and drink water whenever you are having these attacks. Get up and move around or call someone on phone or engage in a conversation with someone immediately. Distract your mind as quickly as possible. Watch TV ..do something. The oxygen contained in the water will fill your lungs and the fast heart beats will quickly slow down. TAKE SLOW AND DEEP BREATHS. This will further force your heart to breathe slower during an attack and become normal. Do some stretches and twists. I know Something is bothering you or hurting you alot. You are taking it on and worrying. If you need someone to talk to or chat with...you can contact me via my ID. I am saying prayers for you. Do the following and you will be fine.

Lord, teach Chicago Gal
that stress comes not from outside pressures
(that we might rationalize)
but from within us.
We are responsible.
By your power
let us learn
with St. Paul
how stress can do more
for us
than to us.
By your Spirit
counsel us
so that crises
may not conquer us.
Let stress be harnessed
to give us energy
and enthusiasm
to grow and learn
and work harder
for you.
That apparent evil
may be turned
into good.
And we may discover
that when we are weak
then You are strong
through
Christ in us.

Amen

Sure. And while I pray for you, I'd like to ask you to pay attention to your breath.

When you breathe, try not to move your shoulders. Your belly should move when you breathe. Breathing with your upper chest (so that your shoulders move up and down) makes you more anxious. Try breathing in for 4 counts, holding for 7 counts and exhaling for 8 counts. Do this up to 8 times. Then breathe naturally (but try to breathe deeply).

It may also help to lie down and starting with your toes and going all the way to your scalp, tell your body to relax. Make sure you get your back, shoulders, neck, face, jaw, and scalp.

If you are still awake, concentrate on good things. If you feel yourself getting tense again, start at your toes and go through the relaxation exercise again.

If you haven't already, make yourself an appointment to see your doctor about your anxiety.

Put your fears in God's hands. He can handle them.

Been there done that... This is a serious place to be. I encourage you to believe you are worthy and have a right to live even with faults. Try to believe in God's ways as they are not as man's. You may need to take time off work to sort out your mind. Almost a third of men go through that state sometime.

I've got something better than prayers. I have a friend with Clinical Anxiety. His therapist recommended Guided Mediation. You should try it. It might help you alot.

I live near chicago. Nice to see more illinoisans on this site. If you want to purchase a guided meditation CD I think he got his from Amazon.

Are you serious? Sounds like a trip to a clinic would be more in order than having someone pray for you....or how about a wishing well? Saves time and the success rate is probably the same as praying.

You have my prayers. Trust in God and expect the unexpected.

May God's presence and deliverance from this condition be yours in Jesus name.

I heard a minister this evening who said once that he prayed to God and asked Him to kindly remove all of his problems. God gently responded, I won't remove all of your problems, but I will give you the strength to over come your problems. How else can you grow strong and help anyone if you don't go through anything. To this day he has troubles, but is able to overcome.

He cares for you and is with you. It will be alright. You have not made it this far to fail.

Consider it a done deal. Hope you get to feeling better. Try a few deep breathes. Picture the calming air coming into your body and the "chaotic" air going out. It helps me when I have episodes. {Plus the power of prayer.}

Yes. I pray right now, that God Help you in what ever is wrong in your life. Believe in this prayer and accept Gods' healing upon your body. Give Him all the Glory Honor and Praise.
SO BE IT.
