Take several deep breaths. Belly breathing is what some people call it. It's and old and useful trick for defeating anxiety and nervousness. The basic idea is act calm,be calm. When you are
experiencing stress, your pulse races and you start breathing very quickly. Forcing yourself to breathe slowly convinces the body that stress is gone. weather it is or isn't. The correct way to breathe? Abdominally -feeling the stomach expand as you inhale. collapse as you ex ale.

HEADACHES

Dont delay, If you do decide to use aspirin for headache, take it right away at the beginning of te headache, otherwise,it may not do you much good.

I have chronic headaches - get them all the time. If the Tylenol doesn't kick in after a few hours, take another one. (I prefer Excedrin.) A hot shower might help with the neck pain (and the neck pain might be triggering the headache as well). Then lay down in a dark room with an icepack on your neck and/or head - wherever it hurts. Just try to relax and get some rest. Drink water. If you have some peppermint oil - dab a little on you forehead. It doesn't cure anything, but it does feel good when it hurts. Kind of a tingly warm/cool feeling.
