When my father was in Germany in 1943-44, he was assigned to help clean up a concentration camp. During the time he was there, he was given or somehow got hold of a confession letter from the commander of three camps.
My sister and I ran across it the other day and we were just wondering if anyone knew if it would be worth anything?

Historical and antique significance. You need to find a professional analyst to get specifics together for you. Talk to an antique specialist who works with military items. I don't know that you will get rich off of this, but you may be surprised all the same. If nothing else, maybe folks at this website can better direct you.

If it can be authenticated it is invalueable. A museum or a collector would pay a good sum of money for such a treasure. Especially if the officer is someone famous like Rudolf Hess or some other famous Nazi. I would love to see the letter. Would you send me a copy ? Perhaps a picture to my email address? I would really appreciate it. Thank you

Fascinating! What did it say? I'd love to read the text of it.

Perhaps you could show a copy to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Maybe then he'll believe that the Holocaust occured!

I don't imagine you'll be able to retire on it, but historically, I think it's really valuable.

it would be hard to tell if it was authentic without another handwritting sample to be compared to and a professional analyst to compare the two but, that is very interesting you should look into it further.

Wow that's so awesome. i would love to read it! I'm not sure if it has much monetary value but I can think of a number of museums that would adore it.
