yes. I work with some very introverted men. they can't even talk to women they're interested in. they're too intimidated. it's creepy.

Just because someone is 36 doesn't mean that person is an extrovert! If you think he is really just too shy, open the door for him and start the relationship. Try mentioning that you think it may be nice to go out for a drink or a cup of coffee sometime. See if he asks. If not, put in a little more to push him to ask or just ask him. If he turns you down, I think you have your answer!

I think that there are a lot of men out there that may be really shy or have been hurt in the past by other women. Give him a break. You could try to ask him out but don't be shocked if he says no. Maybe he's not ready yet but if you like him don't let it get you down. Ask again next month.... maybe he'll break out of his shell.

Sure, why not? I know a guy who is 35 and really likes me but it was almost a year before he told me. It was really obvious for me though; I knew he liked me long before he told me.
