Before you say anything , read this verse:

" I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

He said -
"I form light and create darkness, I make weal and create woe;
I the Lord do all these things"

Having the word "evil" ....this is often mistranslated in English Bibles, but in the Hebrew it is absolutely unmistakable.

Can you explain what you mean by "evil" and what God meant by "evil"????????????

You can't question God!!!!! nor his word!!!!

Anyway don't forget that God can make woe for the evil people. However I'm sure he won't do that. He is a loving father to all of us even through we doubt Him and try to find faults with God, His word and His creation.

"I form the light, and create darkness: I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things."
Isaiah 46:4

However, to answer your question... I don't know where evil came from. I guess Satan, whom God created, so I am not sure.

As a Hindu I believe that good and evil are a matter of perspective. There is no evil, there is only ignorance. It is out of ignorance that we do things that harm others, ignorance because we do not realize our interconnectedness to everything, our connection with one another. We do not realize the nature of our true selves which is divine. The divine spark is in all things and connects us to God. Out of ignorance we believe we are superior to other things and seperate from our actions. This causes us to do things that we perceive to be good but which others perceive to be bad or evil based upon the effects of our actions.

We the people created evil. It has been passed down from generations, not God.

Yes, if god created us and created choice then god created evil. Not to mention the fact that he also created satan. It may have been for our freewill, but either way, god created evil.

God didn't create evil. His creation created evil by rebelling against him. First satan and his angels rebelled against god in heaven and then adam and eve sinned by eating from the tree of life and ever since gods creation has sinned against him.

To prevent anyone from usurping his throne. He didn't do it to spite us, but with our free will we naturally want to control the forces of the Universe for our own benefit. This is much easier than you would think, but with Big screen TV's and a largely apathetic population and followers who run the world in his stead, God doesn't have to worry about us. While we're busy destroying ourselves, we're NOT busy trying to destroy him.

There are people who seriously contemplate that... well, were.
