Definitely. How about walking into a room full of people who care nothing about you. Are you actually there?
I'm not trying to be tricky, but really, to be somewhere, there has to something around you, and frankly, a whole bunch of nothing, is still nothing.

well yes. the way that you put it...everywhere you go speaks of everywhere you've ever been so yeah you can't be at the grocery store anymore if you are now in the car. but the statement "wherever you go there you are" is pretty much an absolute no matter how you bend it.

In all my years I've never seen it untrue, but then, I'm a pretty plain ol' Joe, and maybe I missed something. It's been said that if you remember the 1960's then you weren't there. Well, I remember some of it, here and there, so maybe I wasn't always where I went, but I coulda sworn I was. Oh well.

time is nothing more than a magnetic differential circuitry dynamic that the gravitational constant ensures is a self perpetuating enantiomer, which is why the genome is such an amazing tool for enhancing the ability to exist without having to subvert the range of feasibility of conscious experience.

Depending on your religious views or thoughts on life after death perhaps THE GRAVE is an exception. When you go to the grave are you _there_ or is only your corpse there? Is there a "you" somewhere else?

well that all depends on what you think it means - to BE. "Are" being a tense of this verb. If you think that being refers to being alive and you refers to your body- then when you go into the ground after you die- there you are not.

Whenever you use Microsoft's browser to go online. Wasn't their motto, "where do you want to go today?" But you're still at home actually!
