Usually you can tell pretty easily if a cat is pregnant by feeling her belly. If she is not "fixed" and is an outdoor cat, there's a good chance she is pregnant! Keep an eye on her. I had a cat that used to hide her kittens after giving birth to them (she was a farm cat.. lots of places to hide). Try to have a place set up for the little guys and make sure momma doesn't carry them off! Enjoy the kittens - they are so fun when they're little!

besides the nipples their should be lumps that are full of milk. If there is a tightness on either side of her spine, you know she is pregnant. If she is an outdoor cat, you can almost count on it.

they dont fill up with milk til about 1 week before giving birth -sometimes less.. lets hope she isnt pregnant, THOUSANDS of kittens are euthanized DAILY simply because so many more are born than there are homes for - and even if you find homes for them it means somebody elses kittens will not
please spay your poor kitty

wellllll... if/when you're pregnant, your stomach is the size of two large watermellons, you always have to pee, and you get wierd cravings but your nipples are small, ask yourself, "am i pregnant?"

If you think she is, 99.5% of the time she is. When she has weaned the kittens, please have her spayed. And please, please have the kittens fixed as soon as possible AND before finding them new homes. There are just too many unwanted, abandoned animals now.
