Yes, all of God's creations, including the angels and Jesus Christ (Michael the Archangel is his Heavenly name) have a free will. Yes, Satan the Devil and his Demons used to live in Heaven and had a free will which is why they went bad. The myriads of angels still in Heaven with God and Christ have a free will now too, but they can see the bad things that have happened because of them and want no part of it. They remain faithful to God, but they DO have the choice. God didn't make them to be like robots and serve mechanically like robots. That is why some went bad and many more than that stayed good. They made the choice to keep serving God.

Angels have free will, same as humans. They already made their choices, long ago. They are eternal beings, without bodies, so they never die. Think about it--God probably never made any more after the first ones. They divided into two groups, based on refusing to obey God. Since they never die, He doesn't need any more as replacements, accept maybe for the ones that followed Lucifer. That's a strange thought, isn't it?
Lots of people think that when we die we become angels, but they are not the spirits of the dead, they are something else entirely. They are messengers from God, not ghosts.

Gensis 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days- and also afterward- when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.....this lead me to believe that they do have free will.

EDIT: 2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they SINNED, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;

The answer to that is actually quite easy.
Yes, angels have free will.
Next time you are reading your bible, look up references to angels, (or do it online) Crosswalk is a good start.

You will find that in the story of Moses, after he died, the angels were having a disagreement about what to do with his body. God stepped in and ended that fuss.

In the story of Lucifer, it states that when told to decide whom to follow, one third of the angels followed Lucifer (who became Satan) and they became demons.

Hope this helps a bit in your studies!!

Yes all of Jehovah's Creatures were created with free willso we can choose to obey or notlike Satan chose to become a slanderer and disobey but Jesus chose to obey unto deathso we all have the free will to chose our path of obedience or not. Jehovah could have created us like robots so we would do things only his way but he lovingly gave us free will and anyway it is more pleasing to him when someone willingly obeys him rather than being forced to!

Your answer is Yes. You are wise enough to answer your own question. For additional information on the subject, I'm going to recommend that you pick up a copy of Our Father's Word available at most bookstores. Its filled with all the answers to any question you might have.

Yes, angels do have free will, but since they have entered the beatific vision, they are unable to sin.

Lucifer and the fallen angels fell before entering the beatific vision.

YES to a certain degree(they are not Human Beings). THEY DO NOT have the FREE-WILL to chose their own WORD's to SPEAK. That's what got Satan kicked-out, he chose to speak his own words. Angel's are Angelic Spiritual Servant's(machines to a degree).WE are the one's CREATED in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS!!!! That's why JESUS called us God's, cause HE gave us the right to chose our own words to speak. The CREATOR is a God also. Now, satan is the God of this World, he is still chosing his own word's to speak, and he is still kicked out of HEAVEN with no redemption possible.

I think that they must because satan used to be an angel until he wanted to take over God or something and he was thrown into hell which he now reigns.
