You are not a true christian or you wouldn't be judging your supposed brothers like this..
Since you are the true christian then you started judging the other Christians. They are judging so you start judging them, sort of circular don't you think. And sometimes there are some rude questions here and God himself didn't honey coat his words.
Mat 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Luk 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (isn't that turn or burn??)
The Gospel is not all sugar coat, when people are being abusive . So what is your problem???
Don't be so hard on the others that may not see it your way.
Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
I was gonna e mail you back but it won't let me..

For me apologetics move the road from credible solutions to inquiries to highbrow dishonesty. At a few factor if you're actually wondering problems it turns into transparent that the commencing premise is that there have got to continuously be an reply to provide an explanation for away a end that the Bible isn't the inerrant phrase of a god. No topic how convoluted the rationale turns into or inconsistent with the best way different ingredients of the Bible are interpreted. No topic that at a few factor the extra parsimonious and logical reply is that there are certainly mistakes and inconsistencies or that the ebook does not help a few desired claims by means of Christianity approximately the loving, benevolent god determine. No topic that there's no truly proof for the invented apologetic being truthfully the truly clarification over the choice of its simply mistaken, inconsistent, or contradictory. In the top the Bible by way of those type of apologetics may also be made to mention and help almost something the person wishes to look due to the fact that that's precisely what many individuals do, make it say what they wish or anticipate to listen to.

It really is disgusting how some of us make everyone else look bad. I just shake my head and pray for them. As my friend says "those that shout the loudest are those who know the least".

I don't understand how someone can just stand up and say they are right. I am a Christian and I belive in my faith but I would never stand up and say they are wrong like that or judge them. That is not our duty to judge, God judges all. We should be good followers and try to lead them on the right path.

Of the 3000 (yes, 3000) Chrisitan denominations, I would hope we could realize the Bible has a lot of figurative speech and peopel are bound to see it differently. We should look at what's different in their view and think about it before anything.

People who respond in that way are not true Christians. It is sad, because so many people claim Christianity yet do not exhibit the actions a true Christian should. It gives Christianity a bad name, and I can understand why people are so turned off by it, because of what they have seen of so-called Christians. "Christian" means Christ-like, and Christ loves everybody. He hates the sin, but loves the sinner. We humans, on the other hand, tend to be judgmental and hateful, when we really should be loving each other. We have no right to judge, but we do it anyway. Some churchgoers seem to feel that they are better than others, and condemn people for their actions. They seem to forget that they, too, have sinned, and CONTINUE to sin, and are really no better than the people they condemn and judge.
So, in an attempt to actually answer your question--I think that you should not count the people who react in this way as Christians...because they are not being very Christ-like, now, are they?

the real reason is, at least 75 percent or more have only opened the Bible and read a little bit of it..and do not understand what they have read.
then they go to church only on Sundays and get up and kneel down and get up and leave the church and do the same thing again next week.
so most never get the true lessons in the Bible, most do not take courses in Bible study, most do not go to school for ministry. so they do not know what they are talking about,
they are only repeating what they have been taught at home and in those tiny little bits of time they spend in church looking at their watches to see when they can go home.
this is why
not enough knowledge..
and this goes for most religions too.
because if we all did what we should do.
we would not be fighting and putting down each other.
thank you
smile
God Bless

I agree with you on the reaction of most when they label themselves as followers but don't have answers, they get vicious. Those people are not interested in truly seeing and understanding what Jesus taught. they want to feel spiritual by identifying with people by walking into a room and listen to a guys observation of versus that proof the agenda of modern day Christianity. Jesus never made his death a significant thing, but the church has turned this into the most important event of the bible by far. Jesus spoke of adapting and applying spiritual concepts and precepts never of death and forgiveness of sins. He was about progress as a person and spreading free-thinking, this is why he perished. He voluntarily got on the cross because he wouldn't renounce his spirituality for the churches sake, they put him on the cross for it. Jesus also taught tolerance and unity not separatism and condemnation so why is the christian church the "only way" why are all other religions on there face wrong? not to put the blame solely on the christian church but I grew up in it and tried the whole, on fire for God thing, it didn't work. I did what the church required, it didn't work. I even changed churches multiple times. from Calvary to Evangelist to find the right path but ended up finding more usefulness in self-discovery of the bible without the modern day foundation of the christian church

Religion can be used to justify anything you want to do in life. One saying that shows this very dramatically is the Eye for an Eye and a tooth for a tooth. very much used as a justification to rake a life because they have done something very bad. In fact that is not what the passage says. It says to gibe an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. Totally opposite of what most seem to site. This is why there will never be any one definition to any of the passages in the bible or Curran.

A Good Christian can make you believe that their interpretation is the correct way to understand the verse. Then go to a different verse in some other book and interpret it to say the same thing and on and on. I don't get it.

Remember, not ALL that say they are Christians...are Christians.

Christians pray for one another and pray for those that do not know God, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Christians do not call each other names, and they are not rude to non believers...nor do they judge others.

If this has been happening to you please remember:
Matthew 7:21 -
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

God bless you.

I agree. Lets try our best not to judge each other because God is the only one who can judge...but us Christians do make mistakes every once in a while...
