why do those who are not religious "followers" become defensive when their proven that their beliefs are wrong and misguided. how can you prove something wrong when you don't have the true answer.
How can you prove some ones faith in G-d to be wrong when you have never seen it. You can't 100% prove their is a G-d just like you can't 100% prove their is not a G-d. this is why it's called faith
I'm not sure why people have a big problem with people of True faith. Perhaps people should learn about the subject before passing judgment on any for it. Plus the sooner people realize we are all sinner in the eyes of G-d the sooner we will be able to help each other.
also its how you come across when talking to people about any beliefs may it be politics religion. If you come across in a debating form you will be debated. also It's like if i call you a sinner you will go on the defensive

There is no way to prove that any religion is 100% false as of current data due to lack of records and physical evidence you can call into question the validity of someones' religious beliefs but why bother as their beliefs have no bearing on your life or your beliefs. Most people become defensive because beliefs are as personal and important to that individual as life for without them they could not go on living the life they are in so the best reaction you can have is simply to state your beliefs openly and honestly and respect theirs and ask them to respect yours. Hopefully they will and next time be less defensive to your beliefs but remember to them you are wrong and misguided and they often fill they have legitimate scientific evidence and their is no point of anyone arguing over beliefs. It would definitely be nice if no one was 100% sure without unquestionable evidence and no one is defensive about opinion that harms none.

Very few people want to admit that they're wrong. Especially when they are directly confronted with someone telling them so. It can sometimes cause an irrational backlash against the correct answer, further pushing them into fanaticism.
You can see this among missionaries. They go door to door, realizing that they are not the best loved visitors, yet many missionaries feel that their time spent on mission helped solidify their faith.
I think the best method is to bring up questions to the person and let them try to answer themselves. Hopefully they will one day realize the tower of unsubstantiated beliefs is going to collapse in upon itself.

Most people get really offended when somebody tells them they are "wrong". For instance, if I told you that you were wrong to ask a question like this on the Internet, you would react with some type of thought or comment. How much worse is it when you attack something that this person really believes in. Its like calling that person stupid or incompetent. So its not the subject matter that is causing the problem, its the issue of being called wrong. My suggestion is to find another route to the truth than waving a red flag in their face. Good luck.

every1's religion means alot to them so when someone trys to say there religion is wrong of course they will become defensive. They grew up believing in a certain way and change is hard. But still no one can judge faith, whether you think u cud prove it wrong or not there are many followers that stand behimd there beliefs and no one can change what they strongly believe in because you cant take away whats in there mind

It is because they don't want to change and become true Christians so they become defensive. If they became true Christians then their beliefs wouldn't be wrong or misguided.

Why do atheists get irate when we preach the good news? We are told to this in our Bible. Yes, you do not have to accept this, your free will to choose but don't discredit "religious followers" for a faith most strongly believe in.
I don't agree with Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses when they go door to door, but I will give them credit for showing their faith and being humble to do so. Atheists and agnostics will never do this.
My faith in the Bible and God has not been proven wrong. Through thorough studying of the Scriptures, I have found keys and facts that the truth strengthens my walk on earth with the blessed hope of eternity with the one true God who exists over all.
If those who don't believe spend their time exploring the possibility instead of the inproven and claiming their impossible, then maybe their stance might change. Most refuse to open this door, for He might be waiting.
I don't need to defend God, He can defend Himself. I see it this way...
if they hear the good Word and accept the possibility, they may look for God with a possible, positive viewpoint. If they reject it, it is their free will to choose to spend their life without God, which includes eternity.
When those who refuse to believe start mocking and attacking my faith, then I may step up to the plate. The Bible says we are to be defenders of the faith. If they try to make folly of the Christian faith, then I won't answer, for I won't answer a fool according to his folly, lest we become like him.

maybe they dont think that their beliefs are wrong and miisguided and thats why they get defensive because they are people that get a kick out of trying to prove some or all religious beliefs are wrong and they make fun of God and Jesus .

Nobody likes to hear they are wrong. It is a core belief and just because you believe something doesnt not mean everyone should believe the same thing. No one is right or wrong it is all about perceptions.

What religion are you talking about? If you are talking about Christianity... it has been scorned for years, but never been proven wrong or misguided
