Laser. Best for large areas. The most permanent method. Very expensive.
Waxing. Results last about two weeks. The hair grows back soft so it's not all stubbly (like shaving). Not very expensive, depends on where you live.
Nair and other hair dissolving products. Results last a few days. Hair still grows back soft. Cheap.

Check with Avon they have a good line of products for hair removal and hair softening.

waxing it lasts longer then shaving or hair removal creams, you can spray on numbing spray and pop a tylenol an hour before waxing it will help with pain.

I think the best is waxing but in all actuality they all suck.
