well drinking is a anti depressant, you could feel worse. but how often do you feel like this? That is the real question??? If it is only once and a while, and you just had a bad day, have a friend over or do something fun and have a few. It is OK- once in awhile all in moderation. So look at it and if it still sounds good, go for it have fun party the night away. Just don't drive and don't call in sick to work! You play you pay. Have fun and cheer up! We all have days that suck the big one. Try to keep smiling :)

so u don't need anything to make Ur depression worse. Start a diary, writing out what u feel know and looking back to see how u felt and reflection is a good step to helping Ur self get better, or on the road to getting a check on whats going on.

Alcohol is a depressant. it will only make it worse. Sure you will not remember your sad after a while, but when the buzz fades you will find yourself even sadder then before. to solve this? perhaps drinking?... this is the making of becoming an alcoholic.
I strongly advise medical treatment, I do not fancy shrinks, but they do have a reason to be around. They also know a little something something about depression.
happy days,
Silence

No. Drinking only proglongs the problems. What you should do, is have a ncie treat, a bowl of icecream, a chocolate bar, your favorite snack. Pamper yourself, have a bubble bath, go for a walk! Stay away from the bottle

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! Alcohol will make you worse! It's a "downer" drug meaning that it has the ability to lower your mood. Call an old friend, get out your favorite movie, eat a quarter of icecream but don't get drunk and stupid.

well, can you motivate yourself to get help? If so, I think you should go to bed for tonight. Tomorrow, wake up and get help...seriously, professional help.
Now, if you are going to keep yourself depressed for a while, don't get drunk. Punish yourself by keeping sober and truly living with your depression. After you've punished yourself enough, see paragraph one :)
You can overcome.

No. Alcohol is actually a depressant. It will mask the depression but then it will get worse. There is medication for it and exercise can help.
