Well unless you want to do like what Mr. Wilson did in the movie Dennis the Menace - get 2 Chicklets and insert in the missing gaps. Sounds funny, but that does help. Otherwise, get a dental tape or something white to place at the top row of the teeth until you get your replacement. Since it is your special day, that is THE best advice I can give you. Otherwise, avoid and do less talk. Smile by giving a grin, or nod for acknowledgement.
And then again, why be embarassed? If the guy appreciates you for who you are, then there is no need to fear that he will be reluctant to your presence - he will understand that you are awaiting your teeth replacements, and he will still acknowledge you. Go ahead, and enjoy the big day! Just have fun :)

This may not be anymore helpful than the first jerk who answered your question but here goes...
Don't worry about the gap. Good people like us for who we are, warts (and gaps) and all. Put on your favorite outfit, style your hair, do your makeup the way you like it and smile!!!
He's going to remember the cutie with the gap in her teeth if you are yourself and are fun and interesting.
Are you sure you want to lose that unique gap?

Because I did not wear my retainer after braces, I obtained a small gap between my teeth. I am constantly getting compliments on my smile. The dentist asked if I wanted to correct it and I said no way. When you see the guy, give him a beautiful smile and stop worrying!

this is proberably not going to work very well. but you could use dental wax to fill in the gap if its not to large.
Besides that i have little other advice, i would not worry about your teeth to much, If they guy is good enough for you he will realize that he will be with you after the dentist fills the gap, and it will no longer matter. If he freaks, throw him in the loony bin. any guy who would freak over something that minor does not need to be dating.
Smile,
Silence

Wouldn't it be funny if he smiled and had a gap too. Good luck. Your gap won't turn him off. Whatever you do don't talk about your Gap.
Gappy (sorry)

Don't worry about the gap -- many people have them. If he's a human being this won't be a big concern for him.

Don't open your mouth when you smile. Really, you shouldn't worry about it. Condolezza Rice has a gap. So does Lauren Hutten and she is a top model. It sure didn't hurt David Letterman. Just relax and be yourself.

I dont think people see it as much as you do. You know how it is, just because you know it's there and you know it's bothering you, you think EVERYONE see's it when it's just the opposite. Dont worry about it soo much, be confident and listen it could be A LOT worse! You could have no teeth lol or one eye, something odd like that lol.
